Glorious Fudgy Brownies—These brownies are soft, gooey and outrageously chocolaty. They are so easy to make and loaded with chocolate chunks.
Brownies, named after their color, are believed to have been born from a failed recipe! Someone forgot to add baking powder to their cake and ended up with a flat but rather tasty treat.
Whether true or not, we owe someone a lot of gratitude for making such a great dessert.
My brownies are really easy to make, and they always come out fudgy with a lightly crispy crust. They are perfectly sweetened, and the addition of dark chocolate nibs balances out the sweetness and richness of the butter.
I make brownies for all occasions and they are my kids favorite to have. Sometimes I add chopped pecans or walnuts to them for another layer of texture. Other times, I add peanut butter to the batter and that works really well too.
Ingredients Needed:
To make these brownies you need a few simple ingredients: eggs, brown sugar, white sugar, butter, pure vanilla extract, all–purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder (Dutch Processed), salt and dark chocolate pieces.
How to Make Glorious Fudgy Brownies
Preheat oven to 350F (180C); grease and line with parchment paper an 8 x 8-inch square pan.
In a stand mixer fitted with wire attachment, whisk the eggs with sugar and vanilla until double in volume. Add butter and mix on low.
Fold in flour, cocoa powder and salt. Add chocolate chunks. Mix to combine and pour the batter in prepared pan and bake for 20–25 minutes.
Remove from oven and let it cool completely before cutting it into squares.
What to Have with Brownies
These brownies are great to have with a nice cup of coffee or tea. You can add a dollop of whipped cream or a bunch of strawberries on the side.
A scoop of vanilla ice cream goes a long way too.
You can also try them with my Blueberry Sauce.
